Alpena, Michigan saves the day
October 24th, 2006
I am writing a little note to let you know that the blog master Cheryl’s internet has been down for the past few days and hence, no blog activity. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!
My latest cooking tip is to take a pork roast, not the rolled up tenderloin kind but the darker loin end or “Boston butt” kind, and throw it in your crockpot in the morning with a few peeled and sliced fresh pears. It’ll stay juicy and gain some flavor. Throw some red potatoes and carrots in with it about noon and you’re all set. My three kids all ate it, which is an accomplishment in itself. I thought there would be some left to shred and make sandwiches with the next day but no such luck.
